Manos Fino - Cuarenta

Happy 40th Anniversary to us! The Ball & Skein first opened in 1978 and has been a destination for fiber fans from all over the world since then. We're delighted to offer this celebretory custom hand-dyed color of Fino to you. Based on the shop colors of Maroon and Blue, we think you'll like the feel as well as te color of this beautiful, fingering weight yarn. Why Cuarenta? That means Fourty in Spanish!

Elegant and refined, Fino combines the softness of merino wool with the lustre of silk in a lightweight yarn that’s perfect for heirloom accessories or luxurious garments. Fino features a dye process that yields complex, subtle, tonal colors.

Fino is a delightful fingering weight yarn with very good yardage on a skein. Perfect for those shawl or accessory projects. If you're a fan of small needles, Fino is also a delightful garment yarn as the Merino/Silk blend is perfect for 'close to the skin' comfort.
