Learn to Knit Socks

Learn to Knit Socks - Saturday, February 16. 9AM to 1PM

Have you always wanted to learn to knit socks? We think socks can be a lot of fun, but they can be a bit tricky as there are multiple parts to a sock. That’s where this class comes in!

We will be learning sock construction, methods, and techniques by working on a simple “mini” sock. By working on this fun project you will learn all of the techniques used in constructing a sock, plus lots of tips and tricks to make your socks fit.
We will be working on our mini sock using double points, the oldest method of making socks.

For the class “mini” sock we will use a small ball of Manos del Uruguay Alegria Grande that you will receive in the class. It is a beautiful worsted weight durable yarn of 75% superwash merino, 25% polyamide.

By taking the class, you’ll receive:
1 small ball of Manos Alegria Grande to make the mini sock
Free “Ball & Skein Mini Sock” pattern
Classic Sock Pattern for the family by Melinda Goodfellow - a $7.00 value
A 20% Discount on all purchases that day.

What you’ll need to bring:
1 set of US7/4.5mm double point needles
1 darning needle

Prerequisites:
You should be able to cast-on, knit, purl, and bind off without assistance.

Pricing: $59.00
